If you volunteer with us you might:
work in the shop and/or bar
help with marketing or accounting/book keeping
collect goods from the cash and carry
deliver shopping to local people who can’t get out
help with cleaning
stack shelves and check sell by dates
put new prices into the computer
maintain our website and social media
help with many, many other jobs.
Some people work in pairs, so you could volunteer with a friend. Shop and bar volunteers all get training so they’re familiar with operating the till and the day-to-day duties.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our Community Shop/Bar. They make it what it is - which is a big success and a much needed amenity for our village.
Can you join us? New volunteers are always welcome, to work both in the Shop/Bar and behind the scenes. It's a great way to do your bit for the community, learn new skills and make friends!
Working in any capacity in the community shop/bar is a great way to meet people and be involved in village life, make or catch up with friends, have fun and build confidence.
Volunteering also looks great on a CV and helps people considering returning to paid employment.
